9월 26-28일 현재, 인도네시아에서 2024 AWP(World physiotharapy Congress Asia Western pacific region)가 진행되고 있습니다.
AWP(The Asia Western Pacific region)는 중동에서 아시아 태평양에 걸쳐 31개 기관으로 구성된 국제 물리치료사 회의입니다.
서울특별시 물리치료사회에서는 작년 2023 WPC에서 진행된 인도네시아와의 MOU 협약의 연장선으로, 꾸준한 국제 교류를 위해 박재명 회장님과 김동성 기획이사님이 공식 초청 자격으로 참가하게 되었습니다.
또한, 한국의 물리치료에 대한 뛰어난 의료 수준과 높은 전문성을 인정받아 강의를 진행해줄 것을 요청 받았습니다. 주제는 ‘Adopting New Technology Physiotharay’로, 실제 한국 임상에서 많이 이루어지는 디지털 헬스케어(Telemedicine,환자데이터시스템), Robot rehab(보행로봇,VR 시스템), Wearable system( 동작분석시스템, 실시간 운동/활동량 체크 전자시계+서울시 손목닥터9988 시스템) 등에 대해 박재명 회장님과 김동성 기획이사님께서 진행할 예정입니다.
국제 무대에서 한국 물리치료의 높은 수준을 알리기 위해 꾸준히 노력하도록 하겠습니다. 토요일까지 행사 예정으로, 행사 기간 중 좋은 소식 꾸준히 전달 드리겠습니다.

From September 26 to 28, the 2024 AWP (World Physiotherapy Congress Asia Western Pacific Region) is currently taking place in Indonesia.
AWP is an international physiotherapy conference consisting of 31 organizations spanning from the Middle East to the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of our ongoing international exchange, the SKPTA has participated in this event with the official invitation of President Park Jae-myung and Planning Director Kim Dong-sung, following the MOU established with Indonesia at the 2023 WPC.
Additionally, we have been invited to give a lecture in recognition of the outstanding healthcare standards and high expertise in Korean physiotherapy. The topic will be “Adopting New Technology in Physiotherapy,” covering areas such as digital healthcare (telemedicine, patient data systems), robotic rehabilitation (gait robots, VR systems), and wearable systems (motion analysis systems, real-time exercise/activity tracking smartwatches, and Seoul’s Wrist Doctor 9988 system) presented by President Park Jae-myung and Planning Director Kim Dong-sung.
We will continue to work to promote the high standards of Korean physiotherapy on the international stage. The event is scheduled until Saturday, and I will keep you updated with good news throughout the duration.
